Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, has delivered his assessment of Dorde Petrovic, the team’s custodian.
As Petrovic gets ready to make his complete Chelsea debut against Sheffield United in Saturday’s Premier League match, Pochettino stated that the Blues have faith in him.
Robert Sanchez, Chelsea’s first-choice custodian, will occasionally be out due to an injury he recently suffered.
“We have already lost our best keeper, who is a player you will always miss. At his news conference prior to the game, Pochettino stated, “We have other keepers who are working hard to be ready when this type of thing happens.”
“Of course [I have faith in him],” Pochettino continued, speaking to Petrovic’s challenge. I believe in every one of my players.
“He is young and came from a different football league, of course, but after four or five months of training with us, now is the right time for him to step up and feel good because we believe in him, his teammates do too, and it’s time for him to make his Stamford Bridge debut.
“We have faith that he will perform as we have requested.”
