EPL: Guardiola identifies two teams to compete with Man City for the title
Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has identified the two teams who will contend with them for the Premier League championship this year.
This Sunday’s highly anticipated matchup between Arsenal and the third-placed champions will take place at the Emirates thanks to Guardiola.
The former Barcelona manager thought Arsenal would be a title contender, along with Liverpool, for the Premier League, despite his insistence that the game would not determine City’s title campaign.
Along with Liverpool, Arsenal will be a title rival. The objective is to look at the first 10 games to examine the contenders; we haven’t played 10, so we’ll have to wait, but the major teams are always in it,” Guardiola said during a press conference on Friday.
