England defeated Iran in an eight-goal thriller in Qatar 2022

In their opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, England overcame Iran on Monday afternoon.

At the Khalifa International Stadium, the Three Lions defeated Iran 6-2.

England defeated Iran because to a brace from Saka and goals from Jude Bellingham, Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford, and Jack Grealish.

For Iran, Mehdi Taremi did score twice throughout the game.
