Business tycoon Tony Elumelu has praised some of President Bola Tinubu’s economic choices, saying they are motivating to the private sector.
The founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation stated in a statement following a meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday that he thinks Nigerians will eventually profit from the decisions made.
The business sector is pleased by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bold moves, he said, and we hope that Nigerians will eventually benefit from them since it’s all about the Nigerian people and the youth. Making sure that women are engaged and empowered is key.
“I think Mr. President has this in the back of his mind, and as a person working in the private sector, I believe the actions and decisions the president is taking in the long run will help our people,”
Using the analogy that “Rome was not built in a day,” he urged Nigerians to have “a little bit of patience” with the current administration.
