The results for the National Assembly elections held on February 25 were broken down today by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.
Results for the 423 National Assembly seats have been announced.
Nonetheless, there will be additional voting in 46 constituencies.
Yakubu Mahmood, the chairman of INEC, observed that 98 of the 109 Senate seats had been filled. 325 of the 360 seats in the House of Representatives have been decided.
The All Progressives Congress, or APC, holds 57 seats in the Senate. Currently, the Labour Party (LP) has six members and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 28.
APC holds 162 of the House of Representatives’ seats, while PDP holds 102 and LP holds 34.
The 10th Assembly, according to Mahmood, was the most diverse since 1999.
