El-Rufai’s video on Aso Rock elements working against Tinubu is shared by Aisha Buhari
When the APC had its hotly contested presidential primary in June, Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, easily defeated the party’s top contenders.
Prior to the February 25 election, people in Aso Villa are working against the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, according to a video that the president’s wife, Aisha Buhari, uploaded on Wednesday.
The former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, defeated key contenders in the APC’s hotly contested presidential primary in June, including Rotimi Amaechi, the former minister of transportation, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, and Chris Ngige, the minister of labour.

On Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily breakfast show earlier on Wednesday, the governor claimed that the elements in the Villa are hellbent on the APC losing the election next month since they did not get their way.
“I think there are those in the Villa who want us to lose the elections so they can complain about not getting their way.
El-Rufai said, “They had their candidate; their candidate didn’t win the primaries, and I think they are still attempting to get us to lose the elections, and they are concealing themselves behind the President’s desire to do what he thinks is right.”
Immediately following the Federal Executive Council (FEC), the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, stated that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration is committed to ensuring free, fair, and credible elections and will not favour or put anyone at a disadvantage.
In a tweet on her verified Instagram account, the First Lady of the country shared a video of the governor with the simple hashtag “#longlivethefederalrepublicofNigeria.”
