Ekiti APC gets 23 seats in the state assembly, while SDP gains two
The results of the House of Assembly election held yesterday have been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, in Ekiti State.
According to a statement by Mr. Temitope Akanmu, the commission’s head of voter education and publicity, the All Progressives Congress, or APC, won 23 of the assembly’s 26 seats.

Moreover, the Social Democratic Party, or SDP, gained two seats, while the Ido/Osi Constituency I election was deemed inconclusive as a result of hoodlums interfering with the process.
Babafemi Fatula (Ikole Constituency I), Ayo Adegbite (Ado Constituency I), Mrs. Iyabo Fakunle Okieimen (Ilejemeje Constituency), Idowu Odebunmi (Oye Constituency II), Princess Teju Okunyiga (Gbonyin Constituency), and Mrs. Abimbola Solanke are some of the APC candidates that won the election (Moba Constituency I).
