EKEDC Issues Apology to Customers in Lagos and Ogun for Service Disruption
The management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has expressed their apologies to customers in various parts of Lagos and Ogun states for the recent power outages.
In a statement issued by the General Manager of Corporate Communications, Babatunde Lasaki, on Tuesday, April 23, in Lagos, he acknowledged that the power disruption was caused by a breakdown on the Badagry Express 33kV Feeder in the Agbara District.
This breakdown was a result of fallen poles and cables in multiple locations.
Lasaki further explained that the affected areas included sections of Opic Industrial Estate, Badagry township, Ajara, Agbara Industrial Estate, Odan-Agbara, Ago Eto, and their surrounding areas.

He sincerely apologized for any inconvenience caused by the service disruption and assured customers that the technical team is working tirelessly to resolve all faults.
