Eid-El-Maulud: Tinubu urges Muslims to imitate the virtues of the Prophet Muhammad
According to Tinubu, this time frame should be used for intense reflection and prayer.
The President stated in a statement released by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, that the time should be used for intense reflection and ardent prayer rather than just celebrating the Holy Prophet’s birthday.
“Adherents should make a conscious effort to follow the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings. We can all learn a lot from the Prophet’s life in terms of devotion, endurance, tolerance, humility, and selflessness, Tinubu reportedly said.
Tinubu encouraged religious leaders to use the time to pray for the nation and to caution their followers to learn the right lessons from the Prophet Muhammad’s life in order to be loyal to it.
Nigeria has reached a critical turning point. While the government is making every effort to ensure that the nation is safe and prosperous, we still require the complete support of the populace in the form of patriotism, endurance, and prayers. The President declared, “There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.
In addition, President Tinubu urged Muslims who were celebrating the Maulud festival to show solidarity with the weak and in need while praying for the nation and all of its leaders.
