Nigerian Muslims have joined their fellow Muslims around the world in celebrating Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the festival of sacrifice. This important occasion marks the end of the hajj pilgrimage and holds great significance for Muslims globally.

Eid-el-Kabir is a time to remember Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command. It is a period of reflection, prayer, and gratitude.

During this festive time, Muslims engage in Eid prayers, engage in acts of charity, come together for social gatherings, enjoy delicious meals, and exchange gifts. It is a time of joy and unity for the Muslim community.

In his Eid message, President Bola Tinubu emphasized the importance of sacrifice and duty in nation-building. He called on Nigerians to reflect on the true meaning of Eid-el-Kabir and work towards collective purpose, will, and action to bring about positive change.
