Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress’s (AAC) presidential candidate in the most recent election, was not allowed entry to the Supreme Court’s grounds to observe Nnamdi Kanu’s (IPOB) sitting. This decision was made by the Department of State Services (DSS).

When they saw Sowore’s car, DSS agents at the court’s entry declared, “No access for Sowore.”

Sowore wrote: “An unruly squad of @OfficialDSSNG officials stationed at the gate of the #SupremeCourtofNigeria chanting #NoAccessforSowore prevented me from attending the Supreme Court ruling for #FreeNnamdiKanuNow this morning.

It was deplorable, and this indicates that @OfficialAPCNg is officially in favour of Nnamdi Kanu’s prosecution. Bola Tinubu’s administration @officialABAT is complicit in it.

Today, the head of IPOB, who has been in custody since June 2021, will have his destiny decided by the Supreme Court.
