Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, often known as Doyin, is a controversial Big Brother Naija reality star who has acknowledged that she “faked” her persona when she made her debut on the programme in the 2022 “Level Up” season.

She revealed this when appearing on a recent Lynda-hosted episode of the CreativiTEA podcast.

To be honest, I didn’t run my best during my first run. I’ve appeared on the show twice, and both times I left feeling like I detested it. I was not real. I publicly stated that Doyin is overly mature. She constantly tries to have a conversation; that’s not really me, oo. I fight in real life,” she said.

Doyin described on the programme how a company ended her contract due to an interview she agreed to.

“There is no bad or good brand,” the reality star declared. I was dropped by a brand. After signing me and giving me the money, they called and demanded a refund, citing an interview I had done as the reason. And to be fair to them, I should have been fired for talking.

Among the former Big Brother Naija housemates who returned for the All Stars edition of the show last year was Doyin.

She received harsh criticism for being “too talkative.”

Following her expulsion, Doyin insisted that her outspokenness was the reason why fans had voted against her, saying Nigerians were not ready for a reality TV show.
