The legal dispute between Nigerian footballer Olanrewaju Kayode and his estranged wife, Ezinne Kayode, has intensified, with Ezinne taking legal action against Kayode for allegedly spreading false claims about their children’s paternity through DNA results.

The conflict arose when Ezinne discovered that Kayode’s accusations had gained traction on social media, prompting her to demand a public retraction and support her demand with a legal letter dated May 24, 2024, sent to Kayode at his residence in Lagos.

The letter, titled “Re: Dissemination of false allegations concerning purported DNA test results of the three children of marriage,” accuses Kayode of orchestrating a defamatory campaign against Ezinne and her children, causing them severe embarrassment and harm.

Kayode is alleged to have publicly accused Ezinne of infidelity with a pastor, theft of his vehicles to support the pastor, and abduction of their sons, further escalating the already contentious situation between the estranged couple.

Ezinne vehemently refuted the accusations in a post on Instagram, challenging Kayode to disclose the alleged DNA results and identify the hospital where the tests took place.

Expressing her frustration, Ezinne emphasized that she had endured enough of Kayode’s behavior and was taken aback by his actions involving innocent children.

Reflecting on the difficulties in her marriage, Ezinne shared her anguish and exhaustion, hoping for an end to the distressing situation and encouraging others in similar circumstances to seek help.

Ezinne concluded her message by calling on Kayode to make public the DNA outcomes and the hospital details, affirming her and her children’s readiness to undergo testing.
