The Lagos State Police Command has issued an apology for a misunderstanding regarding the alleged arrest of DJ Switch, also known as Obianuju Catherine Udeh.
Contrary to reports from various news outlets, DJ Switch has denied being arrested by the police in Lagos.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, took to his social media handle to clarify the situation and express his apologies.

He explained that the person who was actually arrested was Iwuagwu Ebere Pat, popularly known as DJ Commissioner Wysei, and not DJ Switch.
Hundeyin personally reached out to media outlets such as Linda Ikeji, BBC, and TVC to apologize for the misinformation he had provided earlier.
He also extended his apologies to DJ Switch for any inconvenience caused.
