The newly formed group is now known as Aiyedatiwa/Adelami grassroots mobilisers. Adelami, who previously ran in the APC governorship primary in 2020, has shown his support for Aiyedatiwa by consolidating their political structures.
Director General of the now defunct APM, Segun Ogodo, emphasized that the decision to combine forces with Aiyedatiwa was based on the belief that only the Governor could lead the state to greater heights.
Ogodo praised Adelami for his dedication to the party and his significant contributions to the success of the APC during the 2020 governorship election in Ondo state.
He highlighted Adelami’s generous donations to Governor Akeredolu’s campaign as a key factor in achieving positive outcomes.
The structure established by Adelami has continued to be active and effective in grassroots political mobilization, boasting a membership of over 8,000 registered APC members across the state who are committed to supporting Aiyedatiwa’s bid for governorship.
Adelami expressed his gratitude to the group members for their unwavering loyalty and assistance during the challenges faced in the 2020 governorship election.
He encouraged unity and collective effort in ensuring the success of the Aiyedatiwa project in the upcoming election.
