Wanted Delta King Linked to Soldiers’ Killing Surrenders to Police Authorities

Clement, the reigning monarch of Ewu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, has voluntarily turned himself in to the authorities.

He had been listed as one of the eight individuals wanted by the Nigerian Army Defence Headquarters in connection with the tragic killing of 17 soldiers in Okuama Community on March 14.

Another person on the wanted list is Akevwru Daniel Omotegbono, also known as Amagbein, a suspected militant leader who managed to evade capture when soldiers tracked him to the Igbomoturu community in Southern-Ijaw Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

The president-general of Ewu, Prof Ekpekpo Arthur, and Reuben Baru, who gained notoriety for a viral video explaining the motives behind the soldiers’ killings, are also among the wanted individuals.

Additionally, Igoli Ebi is believed to be the mother of one of the suspects, while Atata Malaw David and Sinclear Oliki are suspected to be associated with the Amagbein gang.
