Daniel Bwala slams Tinubu’s ministers and APC governors for their silence during the August 1 protest, demanding action.

The current protests across the country have prompted Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign, to criticize President Bola Tinubu’s ministers and All Progressives Congress governors for their silence.

According to Bwala, it would have been better if Tinubu’s ministers and APC governors had conversed with the protestors.

He observed that instead of maintaining silence, they should have utilized the media to acknowledge non-violent protestors.

Bwala posted on X saying that he had anticipated APC governors, who share the President’s reform vision, to interact with protesters in their respective states and pacify them.

I anticipated that every minister and cabinet member of the @officialABAT government would visit their respective states, communicate with protesters who are peaceful, and engage in fruitful discussions.

“I had anticipated that Mr. President’s appointees would utilize various platforms such as TV, radio, Zoom and social media to communicate with both the protesters and millions of Nigerians who may not be protesting but still hold similar viewpoints.”

However, unfortunately most people have chosen to hide and stay quiet. This behavior is insincere and unjust towards the individual who nominated you. It’s unfortunate.
