Canadian Embassy in Abuja affected by fire

A portion of the Canadian embassy in Abuja was completely destroyed by fire on Monday.

It was learned that an explosion at the embassy’s power plant was the cause of the fire.

The staff and vehicles have been evacuated from the premises following the reported 11:30 a.m. Monday start of the fire.

It was observed that FCT Fire Service officers were attempting to extinguish the fire.
