Law enforcement has implemented a notable level of security measures surrounding the National Assembly Complex in Abuja as legislators gather for an impromptu plenary session today.

The Sergeant-At-Arms has taken an uncommon step by obstructing the MOPOL Gate entrance and mandating ID cards for entry. The purpose of this heightened security protocol is purportedly to deter demonstrators from convening at the location.
