The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, is now holding a meeting in his Abuja office with members of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum.
The governors arrived at Wike’s office at approximately 12:40 p.m., led by Bala Muhammad, the governor of Bauchi state and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum. Governors Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa, Caleb Muftwang of the Plateau, and Agbu Kefas of Taraba accompanied him.

But not long after they entered his office, Wike called the governors in for a private meeting.
The governors and Wike are meeting on Monday in an attempt to intervene in the issue that has arisen in Rivers state following the minister’s purported attempts to remove Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
