BREAKING: Reinstated Emir Sanusi Arrives at Kano Government House

The recently reinstated Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, has arrived at the Kano Government House where he is set to officially receive his appointment letter and resume his duties as the sole first-class Emir of the state.

After receiving security advice, a lowkey homecoming reception was organized for him upon his arrival in Kano late Thursday. This signifies that all preparations have been made for the highly anticipated event, which will mark the Emir’s first public appearance since his reinstatement.

The Emir is scheduled to attend a mini-durbar ceremony at the Africa House in Kano Government House at 10am, after which he will proceed to the Nassarawa Emir’s palace. Finally, he will lead the jumu’at (Friday) prayers at the Kano Central mosque located at the palace in Kofar Kudu.

Following the Jumu’at prayers, a grand procession will escort Emir Sanusi from the mosque to his palace. This procession, featuring traditional musicians and horsemen, is expected to be a vibrant display of Kano’s rich cultural heritage.
