The Federal Government and the Organized Private Sector recently presented their wage offers of N48,000 and N54,000 respectively during the ongoing minimum wage negotiations.

However, organized labour has decided to withdraw from the negotiations, deeming the offers as “ridiculous.”

Interestingly, while the government did not provide any supporting data for their proposal, the OPS claimed that none of its members pays less than N78,000.
