According to an anonymous local, a group of heavily armed bandits rode through the area on 20 motorcycles with two people aboard each one. While no community members were harmed or abducted by the group, gunshots could be heard in their wake.

According to the resident, they later discovered that the soldiers who were patrolling the area had been ambushed and four of them had lost their lives. Their comrades retrieved their bodies.

Not long ago, the community bore witness to a bout of violence wherein seven people lost their lives at the hands of bandits who were chasing vigilantes. One resident recounted how they had alerted security forces about these criminals’ presence; however, no significant measures were taken – likely because said outlaws possessed sophisticated weaponry.
