Claims of mistreatment by Libyan authorities have added to the team’s growing frustrations.

He mentioned, “The Super Eagles players and all the officials are boarding a flight from Libya back to Nigeria. Thank God.”

To confirm this, Bruno Onyemaechi, a player, stated, “I’m done with Libya. It has nothing to do with me anymore. Thank God I’m returning.”

Before this, Libyan authorities were accused of denying the Super Eagles’ chartered flight, ValueJet, permission and aviation fuel needed to fly the players back to Nigeria.
