It is Heartland’s ninth game without a victory.

With six points, the former Nigeria Premier Football League winners are in last place on the table.

Nonetheless, Boboye has stated that he is willing to assist the team in climbing the table.

“I’m up to the challenge. Because of the club’s standing in the league, I had different opinions when I was first contacted, but based on what I have observed on the ground, I am certain that we can succeed, Boboye told Heartland FC Media.

“Everyone must report to work. The crew is going to exhibit a new way of thinking. I’m thrilled to be here and the players have promised me that there will be changes.

On Saturday, Heartland’s debut match under Boboye’s direction is the oriental derby against the defending champions Enyimba.
