Imo State was placed under complete lockdown in observance of the Indigenous People of Biafra’s (IPOB) sit-at-home directive on May 30, Biafra Day.

This is true even when the police have guaranteed sufficient security.

Various government institutions were reportedly under lock and key, according to Obasanjonews.com.
