Local government levels in Bayelsa State are now compiling the results of the governorship election.
The off-cycle governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States were scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023, by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.

The major candidates for governor of Bayelsa State are the Peoples Democratic Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Labour Party (LP).
After the polls closed on Saturday, INEC representatives tabulated the votes and made the announcement at the polling places.
