A joint military camp in Nahuta village, located in the Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina, was targeted by a bandit gang armed with sophisticated weapons, including AK-47 rifles.

According to a security source, the attack occurred at approximately 11:30 pm on Sunday. During the assault, the criminals not only destroyed vehicles but also caused damage to valuable items.

Fortunately, no lives were lost, as the personnel stationed at the camp managed to repel the attack, despite being outnumbered by the bandits.

The source further explained that due to the lack of reinforcement throughout the encounter, the bandits were able to overpower the camp and set fire to vehicles and property.
