Bandits Kill Traditional Ruler, Two Others in Kaduna Attack

Bandits struck in Kaduna, killing a traditional ruler and two others, leaving the community in mourning and fear.

The occurrence transpired within the locality of Kajuru’s governmental jurisdiction.

Local sources have reported that the assailants burst into Gefe village around midnight on Thursday, initiating the attack.

It is reported that the bandits aimed at Emmanuel Idan, the village head’s residence and another resident which resulted in their fatal shooting.

Amidst the confusion, over fourteen inhabitants were abducted and transported to an unknown destination.

Silas Musa, a community leader, shared details with Channels Television confirming the tragic news.

During the same time, Musa informed that an attack also took place on the Maro community situated in Kajuru Local Government.

The bandits shot a middle-aged man from the community in both legs, and he died on the way to the hospital due to his injuries.

Keke community in Millennium City, situated within the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State witnessed another unsettling incident as the journalist’s spouse and three offspring were among those kidnapped.

Late on Thursday night, several individuals were forcefully taken from their homes by the bandits.

Bashir Mohammed, a journalist living in Kogi State, shared that his family members had recently arrived in Kaduna for vacation.

While residing at a family member’s abode, they were kidnapped by the bandits, who also took eight other kinfolks.
