When bandits stormed Sayaya hamlet in Katsina State’s Matazu Local Government Area, at least five people were slain.

Just 24 hours had passed since the attack on the Maulud gathering, which is claimed to have killed at least 25 people. The incident happened early on Tuesday.

Nearby local governments of Matazu and Musawa are where several of the victims of the Maulud gathering assault originated.
