Over 15,000 students in the nation have been impacted by the recent ban on schools in the area, according to the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Benin Republic.
That is why NAN is pleading for an easing of the prohibition on the recognition of degree credentials from Togo and the nation.

Recent evidence of credential racketeering in nearby country schools was uncovered by an investigative reporter.
Following this event, the Nigerian government declared that the validation of degree diplomas from both nations would no longer be permitted.
However, Ugochukwu Favour, the NANS President of the Benin Republic, stated on Channels Television on Thursday that the government ought to take into account students who were entered lawfully.
“For the time being, I will suggest that the federal government investigate the matter. Since it is occurring at this school, you are unable to punish every student because about 15,000 students from the Benin Republic were involved.
“I honestly haven’t confirmed if that has been going on for a while. We’re still figuring out how long this has been going on, but this is exactly like what recently surfaced on social media, the president of NANS stated. “Therefore, as president, I have formed a committee to look into it.”
