Bad governance in Nigeria contributes to insecurity in south east- Sam Amadi

Sam Amadi, the director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, has proposed that Nigeria’s poor governance practices may be the primary source of the insecurity in the southeast.

Amadi clarified that effective community action might be used to lessen the detrimental development.

The former Executive Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) expressed his opinion in a post on his X Twitter on Sunday, saying that they cannot helplessly let the terrible circumstances persist.

“Insecurity in the Southeast,” he stated. In Nigeria, there is no effective government. That is the main reason for the nation’s insecurity.

However, we can lessen such effects by taking excellent community action. We cannot stand by and let this awful scenario continue. People should fail too if the government fails “Igwe bu ike.” Ibu anyi ndanda.

“We must not give up. Together, let’s put an end to insecurity in the Southeast. No matter the excuse, if we are plagued by insecurity, we will never be able to fulfil our destiny as the glory of Africa.

“Good governance should coexist with the restoration of security.”
