Atiku is likely to lose in 2023 south-west and south-east – Fayose
The odds of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) winning the South-West and South-East in the 2023 presidential election have been questioned by former governor of Ekiti, Ayo Fayose.
He said that PDP’s chances in the 2023 elections might be impacted by Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.
This was expressed by Fayose during an interview with Politics Today on Thursday on Channels Television.
“Let me give you an analysis,” he said.
I know this may not sit well with those in the South-West, but I don’t think PDP will win.
Anyone who has been lying to us can still lie to us.
I doubt PDP would succeed in the South-East. All interests will be combined in the south-south. Let me travel to the important northern states.
“Without fooling ourselves, the north central has a lot of work to do.
“Neither the PDP nor the APC chose a presidential or vice presidential candidate from the north central. The APC’s vice-presidential candidate hails from the North-East.
“Our party will gain Adamawa state. Remember that there is still another Kwankwaso, a semi-cancer that has the potential to rival prominent personalities in the north, he said.
Finding a means to make peace with these Wike people will be a positive thing, as will reconciling or negotiating with Obi.
