In order to prevent Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, from being released, Mr. Asari Dokubo, a Niger Delta activist, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to refuse.

On Friday, Dokubo paid President Tinubu a visit in Aso Rock and then made the phone call.

When Kanu and Peter Mbah met with President Bola Tinubu, Mbah demanded that Kanu be released.

Kalu should be brought to justice, according to Dokubo, because releasing him would encourage impunity.

“Nnamdi Kanu was free during EndSars; his release would promote impunity. Why did he do that? On EndSars’ flames, he poured gasoline. He’s been discovered now. The deceased, what about them? A criminal has done this. He needs to go to court.

“Releasing Nnamdi Kanu rewards criminal behavior and the horrifying murder of innocent people. For the deeds and instigations he committed, he ought to answer to the law, he told the newsmen.
