Zamfara State has experienced yet another bomb explosion, the third occurrence within a single week.
Zagazola Makama, a security expert and counterinsurgency analyst, reported on Friday that two explosions took place—one along the Dansadau-Malamawa road and another on Malele Road.
The explosions resulted in significant damage, intensifying the fear among local residents.
Although the total number of casualties or injuries has not yet been confirmed, sources have characterized the destruction as extensive. The impacted routes are crucial corridors in Zamfara State, an area that has been struggling with widespread insecurity and banditry.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Zamfara State Police Command has accused the Lukurawa group. This accusation, however, is met with skepticism by local residents and some security analysts.
