“The degree of success in addressing the problem of security in Ondo State generally was credited to the cooperation with the security agencies and the media in the prompt distribution of information,” he stated.

We have a motorcycle-stealing gang called Olamide Wasiu that operates in the states of Ondo, Osun, Oyo, and Ogun. Every time the bikes that were taken from Ondo State are harvested, a buyer arrives in the middle of the operation with a truck.

We are able to establish that he uses these guns to hire criminals, among other offences. We are rounding up our investigations and sending them to the competent court to begin their trial.”

“We also detained a group of kidnappers, including the ringleader, who admitted to the crime.”

“We also have Olusegun Adegoroye, a 49-year-old man, who is in possession of military clothing, including a hat and boot, as well as the weapons they use to conduct their operation.”
