The resignation of Raimi Olayiwola Aminu, the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, has been announced.
This news comes shortly after the inauguration of the new Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, following the passing of Rotimi Akeredolu. Aminu submitted his resignation letter to the Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, stating that his resignation would be effective from Thursday, December 28. He explained that his decision was made based on his conscience, particularly after his leader, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, had joined the Saint Triumphant.
Aminu expressed his gratitude to Governor Akeredolu and the people of the State for the opportunity to serve in various capacities within the government.
