ValueJet’s Managing Director, Captain Dapo Majekodunmi, emphasised that the aircraft’s inability to hold the centerline was due to a slip caused by algae on the taxiway, as reported by Captain Stanley Balami.
Majekodunmi gave the public the assurance that ValueJet is dedicated to safety and that the airline’s operations have not been disrupted.
