Crown Uzama, also known as Shallipopi, is a rapidly emerging Nigerian musician who has shared his story of how his hunger drove him to pursue his career.

The musician made this revelation in a Turntable podcast conversation with his colleague Odumodublck.
Shallipopi recounted his experience of starvation and said that after consuming garri for ten days straight, he started to think about his life.
In a viral social media video, Odumodu asked about the horrific event that motivated him to succeed in any way.
In response, the 23-year-old musician said he discovered he had to put in a lot of effort if he wanted to succeed in life after consuming garri nonstop for ten days.
