After being interrogated in London, Raymond Dokpesi was released
In London, England, Raymond Dokpesi, chairman of DAAR Communications, has been set free.
The cops detained the business tycoon on Sunday.
Dokpesi had travelled from Frankfurt to London on Lufthansa Flight LH916 before being met at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 2.
His company’s management issued a statement on Monday morning.
Dokpesi, who flew in from Abuja via Frankfurt, was reportedly asked to get off the plane first.
Dokpesi had to wait at the airport for a few hours before British immigration officers stamped his passport and cleared him.
In advance of the 2023 presidential election, the British government, according to DAAR, invited Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the UK.
Dokpesi is the Deputy Director-General, Technical and Systems, for the PDP Presidential Campaign Council.
