Musa has voiced his support for imposing stiff penalties on Libya in light of recent events, as the teams prepare for the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.

Ahmed Musa has responded to the harsh treatment that the Super Eagles received from Libyan authorities, according to OBASANJONEWS.

Musa conveyed his disappointment with the actions of the North Africans.

The 32-year-old urged the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to impose strict sanctions on the Libya Football Federation as a penalty for their actions.

Musa expressed deep disappointment on X regarding the unfair treatment of the Super Eagles, NFF officials, and dignitaries in Libya.

“This behavior does not reflect good sportsmanship. I urge the football governing body, @CAF_Online, to step in and investigate this incident.”

“I support the players during this challenging period.”

The Super Eagles have already withdrawn from Tuesday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounter.

The players and their officials are already returning to Nigeria.
