Angop claims that in order for Angola to get to the last eight, Banco Angolano de Investimento (BAI) awarded five million Kwanzas, or roughly N5.41 million, to each player and coaching staff.

Aguinaldo Jaime, the President of UNITEL’s Board of Directors, has also given each member of the Angolan delegation an iPhone 15, together with free calls, SMS, and internet for a year.

If the team beats the Super Eagles, SODIAM EP has guaranteed them a whopping US$250,000, or N225 million.
