Actor Hanks Anuku: Appeals for assistance from Nigerians due to his long-term unemployment

Hanks Anuku, a seasoned Nollywood actor, claims to have been unemployed for years.

The actor said that despite being a legend, he has been living hand to mouth in response to the widely shared footage of him working as a pump attendant at a petrol station in Delta State.

Anuku appealed for help from his supporters and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in a video message that went viral on social media.

“I have worked for this country,” he declared. I’ve reached the pinnacle of legendary status. However, I haven’t had a job for, well, who knows how long. I anticipate that Nigerians will also be aware that I fulfilled all of their needs.

“I’m merely going to beg Governor Sheriff [Oborevwori] to help me out. And if you think you really love me, my admirers who genuinely value the job I’ve done for them, may God enable you all to help me.
