IDF: Footage reveals Hamas tunnel located under al-Shifa
According to video released by the Israeli military, the al-Shifa hospital includes a “55-meter-long terror tunnel that is 10 metres deep underneath.”
“Clearly proving that numerous buildings in the hospital’s complex are used by Hamas as cover for terrorist activities,” the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) say they have watched the film.
The medical personnel at Gaza City’s major hospital, along with Hamas, have consistently refuted these accusations.
This comes after the prime minister of Qatar stated today that there are only “very minor” barriers left to the release of Israeli hostages.
The ambassador of Israel to the United States, Michael Herzog, expressed optimism that Hamas may free a “significant number of hostages” “in the coming days.”

Within the meantime, the World Health Organisation (WHO) reports that 31 premature babies have been transferred out of al-Shifa, the main hospital in Gaza, and are now receiving “urgent care”.
