The Abia Warriors have decided to go on a road walk to raise awareness of the team.
The scheduled walk is set to begin at 3 PM on Tuesday (today).
The Umuahia Township stadium will serve as the starting point for the walk to Ikot Ekpene road.
They would then head back to Aba Road, which connects Bank Road to Okpara Square via Uzuakoli Road, Umuwaya Road, and Uwalaka Road.
The Government House in Umuahia will be the team’s last stop.
Planning is underway to bring the Abia Warriors management staff, headed by John Obuh, closer to the state’s residents.
The 2023–24 NPFL season got off to a winning start for Abia Warriors against Niger Tornadoes.
