300 Trucks Set to Lift Petrol from Dangote Refinery on Sunday – NNPC

The NNPC announces that 300 trucks will begin lifting petrol from the Dangote Refinery starting Sunday, marking a key milestone in fuel distribution across Nigeria.

On Saturday, the NNPC reported that nearly 300 trucks had reached the Dangote Refinery prior to petrol loading.

NNPC was reported to have announced that the initial consignment of gasoline would be loaded from Dangote Refinery on Sunday.

Via X, Olufemi Soneye – the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the company – revealed that trucks had arrived at the refinery.

According to Soneye, the Dangote Refinery is receiving NNPC Ltd. trucks as part of their preparations for petrol loading on Sunday, September 15th in the year 2024.

At the fuel loading gantry of the refinery, there will be a minimum of 300 trucks stationed by today’s end.

The NNPC also stated that trucks were dispatched to the refinery in preparation for Sunday’s loading.

NNPC Ltd. is mobilizing trucks to the fuel loading gantry at the Dangote Refinery’s Ibeju-Lekki facility ahead of its scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15th, 2024.

NNPC Ltd. reported on X that over 100 trucks had been deployed as of Saturday afternoon, while hundreds more were still en route.

Fuel production was announced to have begun by Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of the Dangote Group, last week.
