Veteran Nigerian singer 2Baba, also known as Innocent Ujah Idibia, has expressed disappointment that he is now only considered a “upcoming artist” due to the success of younger musicians.

The crooner known as “African Queen” promised to make a comeback to the spotlight this year, even as she praised the young performers for their accomplishments.
Later in the year, 2Baba made hints about releasing new music.
He posted this on his Instagram page: “Mennn! Not one of these new cats is grinning. I don’t go to up-and-coming musicians. Happy Chai!However, as they say, we won’t be able to afford anyone this year. In the kitchen [studio], I did just that.
