Seven Permanent Secretaries have been appointed to fill open positions in Borno State by Governor Babagana Zulum.
The state Head of Service, Mallam Fannami, made a statement on Wednesday in Maiduguri stating that the individuals appointed had performed the best in the most recent exam given to candidates during the selection process.

Mohammed Lawan, Mohammed Hamza, Yakaru Mustapha, Peter Salomon, Modu Sanda, Juliana Bitrus, and Sadiq Mohammed are the appointees.
According to information obtained by Obasanjo News24, this is the first time permanent secretaries in Borno have been chosen through examination.
The change was made in response to Governor Zulum’s order requiring all worker categories to take and pass a promotion exam in order to advance to the next grade in the public sector.
