During the EID Kabir celebrations, the All Progressives Congress, or APC, in Zamfara, has asked the locals to keep up their ardent prayers for the state’s peace and stability to be restored.
This was said in a statement released by the party’s publicity secretary, Yusuf Idris.
“We thank Allah for counting us among the living,” the Party declared, “many have plans for this season, but by Allah’s special grace, they have not lived to see this day.”
The message went on, “Let’s continue to pray to Allah for His guidance, protection, and progress in our lives and our communities.”
The declaration also exhorted the Muslim Ummah to use the joyous occasion for serious introspection in order to become nearer to Allah by continuing to practise mutual piety and kindness.

The APC declared that it would stay more accessible to the public as a political party by being kind and giving.
The party called on everyone to pray more fervently in order to ask God to intervene in the current state of instability.
“To end insecurity in the state and beyond, the party also wishes to urge the Muslim faithful to intensify more prayers of unity, peace, and understanding.”
