The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, recently disclosed that Nollywood actor Zack Orji has successfully undergone two brain surgeries and is currently in good health. During an interview with Afia TV, Rollas expressed his disappointment towards individuals who spread false rumors about Orji’s death.
He emphasized the negative impact of such misinformation, especially in the digital age where people prioritize online presence over accuracy.
Rollas highlighted that Orji is not in a critical condition and only requires a post-surgery evaluation abroad, for which funds are being raised. He further stated that Orji has survived two brain surgeries, is in good health, and is able to speak.
Rollas condemned the inhuman act of spreading false news about Orji’s passing and urged the public to disregard such rumors. Orji had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital in Abuja on New Year’s Eve.
